New Spring Classes @ Bike Newport's Yoga Loft
Cardio Kickboxing
~ 6 week class begins May 8th-June 12th
Wednesday’s 5:30 – 6:30 PM
Instructor, Karen Candelario, has been teaching kickboxing for over a decade and has been a bike racer. She feels that Kickboxing is a great way to cross train for cycling and is excited to bring her expertise to us.
This is class will focus on core moves that will benefit cyclists but is appropriate for anyone who has a good base level of fitness.
$60 for six week course (w/ your own mat)
$75 for six week course + a new mat for you to keep

Now offered 2 nights a week ~ Tuesday's & Thursday's 6-7 PM
$60 for 1 night per week ~ 6 week course
$96 for 2 nights per week ~ 6 week course
All classes are offered at Bike Newport's Yoga Studio ~ upstairs 150 NW 6th Street, Newport.

The balance of effort and ease that yoga teaches will help you feel more relaxed in the saddle, stay more focused while climbing and descending and give you added strength and flexibility in every phase of your riding. And if that saddle also happens to be your desk chair or your car seat...well, your back, hamstrings, quads and even your neck and jaw are tight and need to stretch and lengthen.
So improve your performance, or just boost your quality of life by learning some key yoga stretches that will keep you strong, stable in the joints and blissfully stretched. Whether you're a weekend warrior or a competitive athlete, this class is for you.
Holly Romero is the owner of Little Fish Yoga and is a certified Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer who's spent the past five years in Newport working with clients using yoga therapeutic techniques, SPIN bikes, TRX straps, free weights, fit balls, kettle bells, and 5Ks to keep her clients happy and healthy.

Elliott goes on walkabout.. err ride-about in 2010
Elliott has decided to head off on an adventure and is riding his bike to his Dad's house in Santa Cruz, California.
His panniers are full of his camping equipment, sleeping bag, & tent and he is going to live the full experience of a "cycle tourist."

The Small Business Administration recorded this at our shop for the Oregon Legislature to help with funding for small business programs.
